Ramada to be improved is an article over at the Beloit Daily News. Here is a picture of the new owner and a selected bit from the article for those of you too lazy to read the full thing:

“I’ve associated with friends and family’s hotels, but this is my first on my own,” Noor Tejany said. “I wanted to pick a hotel I would be proud of in the future. Once my plan is completed, I’ll be proud of this hotel.”

Well I wish him luck. Because he’s going to need it.

Bob the Builder has a bastard child. I was as shocked as the next person. The idea that the children’s cartoon star would do something like this. Here are some shocking side by side pics that show Bob the Builder and his bastard child Bobo:

Of course if this isn’t a case of a bastard child, then it most likely means that the hotel I work at is using copyrighted material for it’s own use.

It was in December when Betty died that my Grandma found out she had cancer. In less than a year the cancer did it’s job. My Grandma died on the 28th of this month.

There is so much I could say. But that is something I’m going to keep to myself. This is a picture of her bellow. This is how I will always remember her.

The visitation is tomorrow some time and the funeral is on Wednesday in the morning.

Changes at Ramada continue is the name of a Beloit Daily News article. The news item tells about the changes going on at the hotel. It is also worth mentioning because it has a picture of the infamous “Temporary Gm” who created and then forgot the 3 R’s, 4 F’s. The picture below should have a caption saying “and it was this big” don’t you think?

The picture doesn’t do the guy justice. Or either I just never noticed what a huge Cro-magnum forehead this guy has. I mean that in the nicest way possible.

Man it’s around 2:15 in the morning. I made a call to Wall-mart to see if they were selling Episode II yet. They were. So I made a trip up to Wall-mart that round trip took 16 minutes and 50 seconds. But I am a proud owner of the wide-screen dvd Episode II Attack Of The Clones.

I have proved once again that I am a Star Wars Geek. Even more so because I will be jumping to chapter 46 to see Yoda kick ass.

A few posts back I was bitching about how the hotel hadn’t put up anything supporting the Sobos. They do now:

Since the X2 movie just came out and I mentioned the original comic it was based on a few posts ago. So if you dig the X-Men movies and want to read the source material I have a few picks for you.

Four books (shown below) called Essential X-Men Volumes 1-4. These hefty books collect issues 94-179 of the original X-Men comics. These comics are the good stuff. And they are more or less the inspiration for these X-Men movies.

You can nab these suckers at you local comic shop or if you have to you can get them at Amazon.com. Essential X-Men Volume 1, Essential X-Men Volume 2, Essential X-Men Volume 3, and Essential X-Men Volume 4.
