So are wondering what the fuck WTGF is? WTGF stands for Wanting To Get Fired. Back in the day it was something I wrote because I wanted to get fired. Simple as that. So here I am again, really wanting to get fired.

I would rather quit and get another job. Me quitting will leave “them” in more of a difficult position. I have redoubled my effort to get the hell out of here. Man am I looking. And “they” won’t get a two week notice out of me. Shit “they” will be lucky if I give them a call ten minutes before my shift telling them to go fuck themselves.

November 28th is coming up. It will be three years since I got fired. That day has become special to me. So if I could push it to get shit canned again on that day it would be cool. I’m also thinking about doing something this year. Maybe a party? How does that sound to you? That is for my local friends and hell even my enemies.

So the plan is I rent a half barrel of beer and have a party down at the Bop. This is just a thought. But as the day comes closer I will let you know if I’m going to do it. So if anyone can come let me know. Send me an e-mail or sign the GuestBook or hit the comments link after my name up on top.

Holiday Inn to become Ramada next week is the link of the day/night. What can I say? Other than “I told you so!” Here’s a lovely quote from the piece:

Well shit that’s news to me. Yeah I know the dude has been here and he’s the guy in charge. But I missed the memo telling how he’s the GM. Wait, there was no such memo. This is another case of flat out lying. These cowboys are starting to make it a habit.

Back in the day when the faggot was still just a peon (the faggot is the guy who got me fired) I told him if he ever became a manager he should fire me. It was advice the pinhead didn’t remember right away. But eventually it came back to him. I gave this same advice to the front desk manager last night.

Seeing our history it’s the least I could do. You see I’ve decided I’m not going to put up with these cowboy fucks pushing around us peons at the hotel. The uniform issue is a case closed kind of thing. Before I started making a stink about the pesky “law” stuff the talk was they were going to make us order shit out of some catalog they had. Now seeing that that would mean they have to pay for the shit, the story is now we can buy our clothes any where.

I’m not saying this was changed because of me. It would be cool if that was the case. Cheap is their middle name. Why would I tell the lady to fire me? Because I’m fucking stupid. If I only could do as my dad says and not cause trouble.

If I could help it, I would help it. But I can’t. I hope I can find another job before these fucks have to fire me again. And I still want more employee’s to interact with the site. Don’t be pussies about this.

The ILLINOIS WAGE PAYMENT AND COLLECTION ACT is something that the employees of the hotel should know about. Here is the part that pertains to the problem at the hotel:

Section 300.840 Uniforms Required by an Employer

An employer shall not deduct the cost of purchasing and/or of cleaning uniforms required by the employer from an employee’s wages or final compensation, unless the employee’s express written consent is given freely at the time the deduction is made. Distinctive outfits or accessories, or both, intended to identify the employee with a specific employer shall be considered a uniform. If an employer requires a general type of ordinary basic street clothing to be worn, but permits variations in the detail of dress, this shall not be considered a uniform. However, when an employer requires that an employee purchase street clothes either from the employer or from a third party designated by the employer, the clothing shall be considered a uniform.

Of course I could be reading it wrong. But to me this says that the employer has to pay for uniforms. “They” are saying as long as there is no logos or such that they don’t have to pay. And again I don’t see it that way.

Hotel management seeking feedback is the link of the day. This BDN headline of course pertains to some of the things I have spoken of time from time. Read the article and note the lies. There are many so be prepared.

First lie:

Once a week, training sessions are held to help employees understand the importance of getting feedback from the people who stay in the hotel and use the restaurant, bar, banquet rooms and meeting rooms…Improving service is a priority.

This is funny because I have yet to get any training. Next we got this one:

Fuck me. I’m really trying to be a “team” player. But I’m doing really bad. I’m not a team player. It’s one of those fact things. Anyway here is what my “coach” had to say (and this is supposed to be a pep talk, I think):

“TOUCHDOWN TO ALL OF US…” Oh Jesus H. Christ. I have read this two page note (that among other things says we are switching brands) many times and I still don’t feel inspired to be one of the team.

“TOUCHDOWN TO ALL OF US…” does that sound foreign to you? Just wondering. If you could only see the insipid coach who wrote this dreck. Sorry that was a random thought.

“Coach” also has an ad in the paper for night auditors. This has my Grandma all shook up (Uh-Huh). Me? I don’t know how I feel. It’s not sending that team vibe to me.

Speaking of getting lots of team spirit (or the lack hereof) I got paid today. I had about 56 hours total and cleared 23,234.20 Pakistani rupees (Remember this isn’t something I’m supposed to talk about). I went with Pakistani rupees to be different. That means I make 542.13 Pakistani rupees a hour. Whoo! This neat Currency Conversion thing is fun.

So it seems “they” are sticking it to me. My hours have been cut. Instead of working four days at 10 hours a pop “they” have shaved a hour off of each day. So goodbye 40 hours a week and hello 36 hours a week. Not counting the week when I get three days, because of the rotation of days.

What can I do? Besides having my attitude problem flare up. I filed my claim to the Department Of Labor about not getting breaks. So I wait now to see what happens with that. I’m also going to check if I can get unemployment. Fuck “them”, those bastards can expect a lot more attitude from me.
