	Hotel Watch Day 3 11:27 pm-Turk Comments (0) Bad Hotel Permalink (No Ratings Yet) Well the worst hotel ever isn’t dead just yet according to this WREX article: Mayor Randy Kirichkow says they’re waiting for test results to come back on air samples from the hotel. He tells us if they’re okay, at least part of the Ramada could open back up as early as Tuesday. This info is coming from the mayor. The retards that run it may have other plans. One can only hope this downtime at least leads to the worst hotel ever’s eventual final death.

	Crackdown 5:05 am-Turk Comments (2) Xbox 360 Permalink (No Ratings Yet) Crackdown is a game for the Xbox 360 that just came out. I played the demo off of Xbox Live for quite a long time. The game has the type of free form do what you want gameplay that I enjoy. The story is very thin. Your are a genetically engineered super cop who is tasked with putting an end to the three gangs of Pacific City. You are free just to tear around the city as you see fit. There is a light rpg like system of five skills that raise in level as you go about your business of fighting the gangs in the city. Driving, Explosives, They are: Firearms, Strength, and Agility. All of the skills except Agility go up as you actually do each type of activity. Agility goes up when you find agility orbs that are scattered around the rooftop and hard to reach high up areas. Once your raise Strength and Agility a few times you start to feel like a superhero jumping around and picking up cars and tossing them at bad guys. The graphics are worth mentioning because of the almost comic book look of the characters. It’s a blend of cell shading and realistic style graphics of other games. Below are some screens just to give you an idea of what it looks like: Just lots of fun. It has co-op join any time just like Gears of Wars and is a perfect game to play with a friend. It is worth mentioning that Crackdown comes with an invite for the Halo 3 beta test later this year. Which I’m sure more than a few people picked it up just for the Halo 3 beta. Either way I think it is a must have for the Xbox 360.

	My Day 6:03 pm-Turk Comments (1) Default Permalink (1 votes, avg: 4.00 out of 5) So I got my ass fired. That’s the recap. Here is what I did today. First I called and talked to the Illinois Department of Labor and updated them on the latest developments. They were very interested to hear about my firing. The lady I talked didn’t think “the morale of the team would be better without me” was a sufficient reason to be let go. And that it was more than a little suspicious that I file a complaint and then a while later get fired for no good reason. Now that I no longer work for those assholes my desire to cause them trouble grows even more. Second thing I did was file for unemployment. Which was fun. When it asked for the name of the person that fired me I entered “powers that be” and reason for being fired I put “the morale of the team would be better without me”. Will be interesting what those assholes at the hotel actual excuse will be when they fight my unemployment. Thirdly I applied at the new Menard$ being built here in my neck of the woods. Was one of those deals were you go in and fill the application out and then someone interviews asking some general questions. Not sure if it’s a preinterview or if that was the real deal. Not sure what I would do at a place like Menard$. But a job is a job. Beggars can’t be choosers. Finally I think I shall continue my boozing ways and go get a twelve pack. But this is supposedly from fellow night auditor. So much for solidarity huh? Now really quickly I’ll answer each point of his message and then we will look at just possibly who and where Some Dude is, just to give a comparisons between the two of us night auditors. I am astonished that you haven’t been fired! Honestly this is the only point I agree with you on. The attitude conveyed on your site doesn’t seem congruent to the type of attitude needed for the hospitality industry. Well fuck me you are way to smart for me man. I don’t think I could even use conveyed and congruent in the same sentence. I am a night auditor because I choose and love to do it. Believe it or not I also am a night auditor because I choose and love to do it. You may find that hard to believe. But it is true. Perhaps you should read over this site again and see if you can get a clearer picture of what I deal with at my hotel. It seems you are soo miserable; if so, why not find another occupation? As stated before I love my job. I even love the hotel I’m at. It’s not me, it’s the clueless owners and managers that make me miserable. I was there first. So I expect them to get their shit together and start running the place the way I see it should be run. Which even if my idea of how a hotel should be run is totally wrong, can the chaotic mess these people are causing be the right way? You will have to let me know about that Some Dude. Which makes me wonder why such an exemplary auditor would be doing google searches for night auditor blog while on the clock at such a nice hotel. Did you read enough to make your opinion of me? I think your more than just a night auditor. Perhaps you are also a Night Manager? Come on you can admit it. Don’t you think your entire statement is suspect just because of your manager status. You managers are in some sacred brotherhood I sometimes think. You all got to stick together and fight the evil injustice that I represent? That maybe a tad melodramatic but it’s funny how every manager I get tends to disagree with my views on my hotel. Perhaps you should join in the discussion of night audit in my forums. You will see a different face that the auditors wear over at NightAudit.com. Maybe we could even discuss these topics further.
