I’m getting ahead of myself. First things first. This has me all pissed off. And here is the important part: A storm cloud. Stop right there. Fuck them. Galactus is the devourer of worlds goddamn it. The first picture is a cloud. The second picture is Galactus The Devourer of Worlds. The Big G is not a fucking cloud. End of story. Tell this to that piece of fuck Tim “Barbershop” Story. Below is what Tim “Taxi” Story thinks Galactus should look like: So what we have here is proof that some comic books should not be made into movies. I’m glad I stuck to my guns and did not go and see this movie. I won’t watch it on dvd either. I’ll just dream of Fantastic Four movies that could have been. At least Tim Story can’t fuck up the comic books themselves. Do yourself a favor and just go and buy this below. You can thank me later for saving you from the second Tim Story Fantastic Four movie.

Ghost Rider first showed up as a western themed character in 1967. A few years later Marvel moved Ghost Rider to the then modern time of 1972. I kept hoping the Scooby Doo gang would come out, rip the mask off of Cage and reveal Ghost Rider really is crazy old man Ben Affleck! 	Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 11:21 pm-Turk Comments (9) Show » Downloads, Games Permalink On a whim I picked up Marvel: Ultimate Alliance. A game by the same guys (Raven Software) who did X-Men Legends 1 and 2. Like the X-Men games it’s an action RPG. Between this game and NWN2 my CoV play time has stopped completely. This game is lot of fun. The second X-Men game lacked something. But Marvel: Ultimate Alliance just seems to hit it on the head in the fun department. No micromanagement of character stats. They even eliminated gear down to one piece of equipment per character and only bosses drop items. The focus here are powers and the fun you have using them. 	Fantastic Four 11:44 am-Turk Comments (0) « Hide Bad Permalink So is this guy full of shit or what? He says and I quote: Fine job, one and all. The direction, the story, the wowza special effects are excellent. Comic fans need to be aware that, as they’ve probably picked up from the previews, the story is different from the one presented by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby back in 1961, particularly as it relates to Dr. Doom. He goes on to say: If they are able to put that aside, fans can enjoy the movie for living up to the spirit of the Fab Four. I’d rate it a bit below Batman Begins but on par with the Spider-Man and X-Men flicks. And it’s way above Hulk and Daredevil. Which by this point the son of a bitch has blasphemed quite enough and I stop reading. Ok I didn’t really stop reading. I just don’t think the guy is qualified to make this kind of call. I also say that the changes to Doctor Doom are to much to overlook. I’m a firm believer that certain things like the origin of Doom can’t be altered. It takes away from just what Doom really is. It’s a moot point of course as I have yet to see this movie. But in a few hours that will change. Then we will see if this guy is right or wrong. And I say he’s wrong.

I’m really terribly afraid that if this movie is even a mild success that we will see a just as fucked up Galactus as this Doom origin having him on the fucking rocket with the FF.

	Spidey Overdose! 5:54 am-Turk Comments (0) « Hide Comic Books, Pictures Permalink I made a purchase the other day that I still can’t believe. I bought every issue of the comic book The Amazing Spider-Man for about 50 bucks. Sure these comics are on 11 cd’s in the pdf format. But 500 comics for 50 bucks? Tell where else you can buy 500 comics for 50 bucks? The product is called 40 Years of the Amazing Spider-Man and it is a must have for anyone that likes Spider-Man. These are not reproductions. These are the actual comic books scanned. You get the art, the, adds, the covers, and the letter pages. I can’t stress enough just how geeked out I am about this. It’s so bad I haven’t had the time to log in to World of Warcraft the last few days. WoW can wait. I have 500 fucking issues of Spider-Man to read. And this is the good stuff people. The movies got their inspiration from the stories in these 500 issues. I’m also pretty damn impressed by the current run on the comic. I’ve never read them till now and always thought the new stuff was inferior. Boy was I wrong. The current writer (J. Michael Straczynski) may be known to some of you in the sci-fi world as the creator of Babylon 5. It’s a Peter Parker that I hadn’t seen in a while. Straczynski has made me forget all about the retarded clone saga. I’m going to add the comic to my subscriptions at the local comic book store.
